The Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre in Strasburg, Pennsylvania presents the classic Biblical production of the story of ”Miracle of Christmas”. Experience the unfolding of the most astounding story the earth has ever known – the birth of God’s son in human form. Join Mary and Joseph at their betrothal, and experience with them the astonishing angelic announcements, that the long-awaited Messiah would be born as their son. As Mary and Joseph suffer scorn and disgrace in the eyes of their world, travel with them on the lonely journey to the Bethlehem stable. Welcome aboard the Potomac Riverboat “Cherry Blossom”, a working replica of an authentic split sternwheeler and re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat, for a sightseeing cruise on the Potomac River. We travel to Romney, West Virginia for an excursion on one of America’s premier scenic railroads, the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad. Your 3 hour train excursion begins at the Wappocomo Station in Romney, situated next to a charming homestead and a sprawling view of the mountains. Enjoy the sounds of vintage diesels as they lead you through beautiful pastures and farms dating back to the 1700s. As you wind along the South Branch of the Potomac River, you’ll enter a visually-striking gorge known as “The Trough”. One of the most scenic spots along the South Branch, the Trough is the eastern home of our magnificent national symbol, the American Bald Eagle. These majestic birds soar high above in their natural habitat, undisturbed by the low rumblings of the occasional train and the passengers who have come for a sighting. Don’t be surprised to see these superb flyers swooping overhead in pursuit of prey or gliding gently across the blue mountain skies as if to flaunt their supremacy of the air. Bring your cameras and binoculars! History and scenic beauty combine for an awesome travel experience. A delicious turkey lunch consisting of mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and butter, dessert and beverage are included during your excursion today. Note: A rest stop will be made en route to the Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad, and a fast food stop will be made on the return trip home.

Welcome to the Hotel Du Pont located in the heart of the legal and financial district in downtown Wilmington, Delaware. Modeled after the great hotels of Europe, enjoy a delicious buffet luncheon served amidst the Hotel Du Pont’s elegant furnishings and signature artwork. Dining at the Hotel Du Pont is an experience that will have you talking for days. Next we depart for the Nemours Mansion & Gardens, a 300-acre country estate of the late industrialist and philanthropist Alfred I. DuPont. A fine example of a French chateau in the style of Louis XVIth, the mansion was started in 1909 and completed in 1910. The 47,000 square foot mansion looms over the surrounding formal gardens and is furnished with fine antiques, famous works of art, beautiful tapestries, and other treasures. Included are a guided tour through a series of rooms on three floors, followed by a bus tour through the gardens and surrounding grounds. The grounds surrounding the mansion extend one third of a mile along the main vista from the house, and are among the finest examples of French-style gardens in the United States. The tour will conclude with a visit to the chauffeur’s garage where the family’s antique cars are on display.
