Provenance: Material created and collected by Mr Tom Roberts (1902-

1975) whilst researching Arnold Bennett in the 1950s and 60s. The papers failed to sell at the auction of Roberts’s estate and were rescued by Hanley bookseller Keith Fisher, who later passed them to Jenny Graveson (former editor of the AB Society Newsletter). Jenny donated the papers to Keele in February 2012.
