• Mission– Lead improvement of research & technology protection across the Army– Identify systemic problems, recommend complete solutions– Integrate and synchronize stakeholder efforts

• Functions– Establish consistency and standardization in:

• Critical Program Information (CPI) Determination Process

• Conduct of Protection Planning Activities

– Provide Subject Matter Expert to assist in identifying and protection of CPI– Provide and maintain cadre of RTP Subject Matter Experts

• Coordination/Integration– Program Executive Offices/Program Managers/Project Managers – Army Material Command; Research, Development and Engineering Command – Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics & Technology – Other Services & DoD Agencies; Intelligence Community
