ARMORED VEHICLE TACTICS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

ARMORED VEHICLE TACTICS It is common for Law Enforcement to require documented training in tactics and equipment they use, especially with lifesaving equipment. However, few officers are given documented training in the use of armored vehicles. This course provides students with the proven tactics and techniques that better utilize the advantages of armored vehicles in the dangerous environment with which they operate, such as SWAT situations, High Risks Warrants, Active Shooter, and Crowd Control.

COURSE OVERVIEWStudents will be engaged in scenario-based exercises that challenge them to utilize techniques that improve effectiveness and officer safety. Students will participate in: • Officer Down/Victim Rescues• Crowd Management Operations• High Risk Warrant Execution• Barricaded Suspects• Hostage Rescue

COURSE BENEFITSThis course is conducted by real-world professionals with a strong operational experience in the use of armored vehicles. Students that successfully complete this course will:• Receive an operator certificate in the deployment of Armored Vehicle Tactics.• Be better prepared to deploy the ballistic protection of an armored vehicle.• Understand the real-world advantages of armored vehicles in a wide variety of

incidents.• Become proficient in the strategies and tactics of armored vehicle

Prerequisites All participants are recommended to be in good general health and physical condition, and capable of performing minimum physical skills associated with active movements and driving techniques described in this course. Required Equipment
