This show was ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS! We co-hosted our AMPS show with our IPMS Gamecocks friends in conjunction with their IPMS / USA Region-12 Convention. Contact IPMS Gamecocks, Sumter-Shaw-AFB at http://www.sumter-shawafb-ipms.org/. The newly renovated Convention Center venue featured over 100 tables for display and 75 vendor tables! And this year, AMPS Central SC had dedicated spaces for Judging and to present the Judges' Training. The new venue was fantastic, and we've already received a lot of complements about this spacious and well-lit facility. This year, AMPS had 115 models entered for judging with another 20 brought in for "display only." Our IPMS friends had over 300 models entered into their show with another 20 display bringing the entire show to well over 450 models. AMPS had 38 participants and IPMS had 70, bringing the combined show total to over 100 model builders entering and exhibiting their work. This was a fantastic opportunity for AMPS to put its best foot forward and show the entire model-building community in our near region what AMPS is all about. Hopefully, we dispelled a lot of rumors, myths and urban legends about AMPS and its judging and awards systems. We

hope that this exposure will result in more modelers becoming involved in AMPS at both the local and national levels.

AMPS awarded 85 bronze, silver and gold medals in four different skill-levels, juniors, basic, intermediate, and advanced. Additionally, each and every one of the 115 models entered receiving written individual judges' assessments, scoring and narrative comments which were provided to the entrants at the end of the show.
