Indirect evaporative cooling systems are designed to pre-cool fresh air in drier climates, especially where there is a need for large amounts of air.Using a sensible heat exchanger a substantial reduction in temperature can be achieved without increasing the moisture content normally associated with evaporative cooling.These units are very economical to run, using water instead of the refrigeration cycle to reduce the temperature. OPeRATIONThe DHP Unit is designed to cool and dehumidify hot and humid outside air and supply the air at the return air temperature. As the air crosses the sensible heat exchanger, it is cooled by a cooling coil and then crosses the heat exchanger again to reheat to room return air temperature.
