Versus last year, the total number of homes available this
month is higher by 76 units or 17%. The total number of
active inventory this October was 512 compared to 436 in
October 2012. This month's total of 512 is higher than the
previous month's total supply of available inventory of 508,
an increase of 1%.

There was an increase in total units sold in October, with 259
sold this month in Arlington County versus 208 last month,
an increase of 25%. This month's total units sold was higher
than at this time last year, an increase of 16% versus October
2012.

lower than the average last year, which was 39, a decrease of
36%.

Focus On: Arlington County Housing Market October 2013
This month there were 313 homes newly listed for sale in
Arlington County compared to 244 in October 2012, an
increase of 28%. There were 212 current contracts pending
sale this October compared to 216 a year ago. The number of
current contracts is 2% lower than last October.

99.4% of the average list price, which is 0.7% higher than at
this time last year.
