It seems that in a an interview with a local Detroit TV station, Aretha said she would retire sometime this year, probably after completing her latest album project which is being produced in Detroit by Stevie Wonder. Ms F said: " This will be my last year. I will be recording, but this will be my last year in concert... I feel very, very enriched and satisfied with respect to where my career came from, and where it is now. I'll be pretty much satisfied, but I'm not going to go anywhere and just sit down and do nothing. That wouldn't be good either." Aretha, who is 74, also said she's like to spend more time with her grandchildren though she also said she'd be open "to some select things, many one a month, for six months out of the year". 1 / 1

US sources are reporting that the "Queen of Soul", ARETHA FRANKLIN is all set to retire!

It seems that in a an interview with a local Detroit TV station, Aretha said she would retiresometime this year, probably after completing her latest album project which is being producedin Detroit by Stevie Wonder. Ms F said: "This will be my last year. I will be recording, but this willbe my last year in concert...
