MARUGOTO A2-1 course is for you!
1. Understand sentences and frequently used expressions
regarding topics such as business, health, celebrations, etc.
2. Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring simple and
direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
3. Describe clearly and in simple terms aspects of his/her
background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate
need.
* Those who have NOT taken the “Marugoto: Japanese Language
& Culture A2-1 Module 1” course are required to take a
Placement Test / Interview, with schedule options from 2:00 p.m. to
5:30 p.m. on either Nov 26 (Mon) or Nov 27 (Tue). (Subject to
availability)

Wednesdays)

Tuition Fee Php 3,800 (plus Php 700 book fee for those who have
not taken A2-1 Module 1)
Class Minimum of 10 students per class Maximum of 16 students

Those with A2-1 Module 1 level ☆ of Nihongo knowledge may join
this course. ☆ If you can understand and answer the following, then
you are of A2-1 Module 1 level:
きせつや てんきに ついて、はなします。 あの たてものに どうやって いきますか。（おしえます。）
ともだちを どうぶつえんに さそいます。 まちあわせに どうして おくれましたか。（いいます。）
* Interested applicants are required to be able to read hiragana
and katakana.
The Japan Foundation has been developing course books to embody
the JF Standard for Japanese‐Language Education and to use them for
Japanese language courses in JF overseas centers. ‘MARUGOTO:
Japanese Language and Culture A1’, the first book of the series,
was published in May 2011. Aiming at Japanese‐language for mutual
understanding, ‘Marugoto’ is designed for learning not only the
Japanese language but Japanese culture as well. Grammar and writing
of Japanese characters will not be the main focus of the
course.
