“Employees must be adequately trained in the safe use of equipment in the place of work” to over come this, The Silver Card Training Course, in short, Is a course which has been designed and Written by HIANZ (Hire Industry Association New Zealand) for Operators to deem them competent to use EWP’s (Elevated Work Platforms) and comply with law. Still, while it is not compulsory that operators hold a licence by law, professional training is needed.

The course outlays the potential for accidents, and then suggests solutions for operators to rectify these.

Once the Silver Card is received, it will need to be renewed every three years.

We Offer Two Options:

• Providing you have adequate space and suitable seating arrangements, we can come to you-on Site, or otherwise;

• Classes will be held in a conference room on our premises here at 53 Carters Rd, Amberley. (A Van can be provided to transport your team here at an extra cost as well)

NC Hire will provide an expert Gold Card Trainer who has been in this business for over 15 Years

Depending on number of machines needing training on, 10 Students can gain training on One Machine in One Day (8Hr), 8 Students on Two Machines, 6 Students on Three Machines. As companies are not wanting to send their full teams away to training at once, we’ve kept class’s small which also provides employee’s with higher level of training. Depending on machines being done, our Capacity is as Follows:
