Assistant Superintendent River Glen Country Club is an 18 hole semi-private course located on the White River in Fishers, Indiana. We are continually working to improve the course conditions through tee reconstruction, irrigation addition, and additional projects that are conducted in- house. Our focus is to provide conditions that exceed golfer expectations while maintaining fiscal responsibility to the club. This is a great opportunity for a recent turf school graduate to learn and execute all aspects of golf course management. Duties include: - Working with superintendent to execute long and short-term maintenance plans. - All aspects of daily course maintenance and set up - Crew development, supervision and scheduling - Pesticide / fertilizer applications and recordkeeping - Irrigation troubleshooting and programming - Assisting mechanic with daily setups Qualifications: - Degree in turf or related field preferred - Indiana Pesticide Applicator License (Cat. 3B) or ability to obtain - Minimum of two seasons golf course maintenance experience - Valid Drivers License Compensation: - $30,000 - Health Insurance - Paid Vacation - Golfing Privileges Contact: Reed Kemp Golf Course Superintendent 317-447-4202 [email protected]
