Accept assignments based on group needs and schedule.

consumer, peers, and interpreter coordinator.
Keep all information confidential.

Work in isolation. Self access skills.
Educational Interpreting
Pros Assignments are
ongoing. Pay is somewhat
predictable. There is a support
network. Team members can
share info to make subbing easier.
Cons Schedule is based on
student schedules. Students drop
classes. Sometimes you get
“stuck” with subject matter you don’t like.
Less independence.

Why Do We Have an Educational Team?
The postsecondary educational goal is to provide a level playing field for students who are otherwise qualified.
Consistency improves the educational environment.
Colleges and Universities are based on a community philosophy.
