1. Getting StartedDo you know your Glow Username and Password – if not please contact a member of staff who can reset it for you.Step 1 – Open the Glow LaunchpadStep 2 – Click the “House” IconStep 3- Click the “Google Classroom” tileStep 4 – Choose the “I am a student option

2. Joining ClassesYour teacher may individually invite you to a class, in which case it will automatically appear. However, your teacher will most likely give you a “class code”Step 1 – click the “+” in the top left cornerStep 2 – enter the “class code” your teacher gave you

3. The Class StreamThis works in the same way as a Social Media StreamYour teacher may use this to communicate with you. You can comment on postsAny new materials/assignments will also be placed hereRemember, everything you write is visible to your teacher

4. ClassworkHere you will be able to access any materials or tasks your teacher has uploadedThey may be grouped by topic

5. Creating WorkYou a use Google Classroom as a workbook.If you teacher as created an assignment with you, simply click the “Add or Create” button and select the format. e.g. Doc.This will be automatically shared with your teacher
