Adilam Arcus is the world’s first cloud based RFID soluon for libraries. Arcus does not require local servers which reduces cost and greatly simplifies installaon, maintenance, and library infrastructure. Connecvity is web based removing the complexies of the RFID soluon from the Libraries network, simplifying support, and making maintenance and upgrades faster and easier. Arcus upgrades do not require installaon as the soluon is web based. Adilam believes in open standards and interoperability so Arcus has been designed to be technologically agnosc and to work with HF, UHF, barcode, and vision technologies. In fact because of the unique Arcus infrastructure it is possible to change frequencies at any me in the future without having to retag exisng stock. The soluon is designed for a rapid roll out to libraries making implementaon quicker and more straight forward. Not having a local server in the library to maintain RFID readers enables maintenance and upgrades to be easier and dynamic as all staons can be upgraded simultaneously. Arcus is compable with mulple tag formats including ISO 28560 parts 1 and 2, the 3M tag format, and the Civica UHF tag format. New formats are easily added as required. Our secure and reliable Arcus servers are stored on world class infrastructure using virtual servers for added redundancy. The unique Arcus design means RFID readers are “plug and play” allowing them to be moved to new locaons in the library, a different library, or even outside the library. Every staon can also be used for any purpose including iCheckout, Workstaon, and Conversion! Arcus makes RFID simple for mobile libraries, home service, events, fesvals, or anywhere outside the library. Introducing Arcus Library

Arcus is the world’s first cloud based RFID solution for libraries. Arcus does not require local servers which reduces cost and greatly simplifies installation, maintenance, and library infrastructure.

Connectivity is web based removing the complexities of the RFID solution from the Libraries network, simplifying support, and making maintenance and upgrades faster and easier. Arcus upgrades do not require installation as the solution is web based.

Adilam believes in open standards and interoperability so Arcus has been designed to be technologically agnostic and to work with HF, UHF, barcode, and vision technologies. In fact because of the unique Arcus infrastructure it is possible to change frequencies at any time in the future without having to retag existing stock.

The solution is designed for a rapid roll out to libraries making implementation quicker and more straight forward. Not having a local server in the library to maintain RFID readers enables maintenance and upgrades to be easier and dynamic as all stations can be upgraded simultaneously.

Arcus is compatible with multiple tag formats including ISO 28560 parts 1 and 2, the 3M tag format, and the Civica UHF tag format. New formats are easily added as required.

Our secure and reliable Arcus servers are stored on world class infrastructure using virtual servers for added redundancy.

The unique Arcus design means RFID readers are “plug and play” allowing them to be moved to new locations in the library, a different library, or even outside the library. Every station can also be used for any purpose including iCheckout, Workstation, and Conversion!

Arcus makes RFID simple for mobile libraries, home service, events, festivals, or anywhere outside the library.

Arcus is Simple yet Powerful

Only with Arcus do you have:

• Reduced complexity

• Managed service

• Seamless upgrades

• Simple installation

• Easily customised web based interface

• Remote monitoring and support (24/7)

• Issue and return using RFID or barcode

• Remote security list update

• Enhanced live reports

• Web based means access from anywhere

• Arcus item history

• No locked hardware

Arcus offers freedom and choice, you can run Arcus on your own hardware, even for Self Service. If interested libraries can issue and return items belonging to other libraries even if they are running different Library Management Systems.

Our security options give flexibility, an item can be circulated using RFID, barcode, or third party applications. This can add to real savings for your library.

Using a cloud based solution lowers costs, removes the need for local servers, and system resources can be shared between multiple systems

Arcus is designed to grow as technology progresses and is currently used with RFID, barcode, video solutions, sorters, and robotics.

Database driven reporting means Arcus offers reports not possible with other systems. Item history, last seen time, Self Check compared to people in the library, circulation by Arcus station, conversion history, gate alarms compared to last seen time, new reports are being added all the time.
