consumption of our freezers. By using our patented single compressor system, you use

Arctiko uses the ISO 9001 standard in all business processes within the R&D, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing and with continuous monitoring and optimization of business processes and manufacturing methods. ISO 13485:ISO 13485 is a standard for design & manufacture of medical equipment. It is an independent standard certification that is generally harmonized with ISO 9001. The standard has been prepared in accordance with the European Commission; with the essential requirements of EU directives for medical devices & CE marking. For Arctiko the ISO 13485 is a quality management system to ensure that our products meets the EU directive 93/42/EEC for medical devices. Class I devices are approved by Arctiko, whereas Class II equipment must be approved by an external certification company. For both classifications Arctiko prepared a Technical File which verified that the equipment meets the essential requirements of EU directive 93/42/EEC for medical devices & CE marking. This ensures that Arctiko’s customers at any time can trust our statements of high quality when choosing Arctiko products which are classified as Class I & II for medical devices.

TestingEach product from Arctiko is carefully tested before shipment. Our products go through various Production Quality Tests such as visual inspection, pull down test, the stability of the temperature inside the freezer, alarm functions, etc. All these PQ tests are performed on empty freezers, which means that once they contain prod-ucts, their efficiency and accuracy will increase even more.

ShippingHandling and shipping freezers is a very delicate operation; that’s why we

only use the most reliable and professional shipping companies to guaran-tee that the packages will reach their delivery destination in perfect

condition. Spare parts deliveries will also be arranged by our shipping team in the best possible ways.

PackingOur warehouse is in charge of the packing of our

goods in order for them to travel in the safest conditions. Each product is carefully packed

with polystyrene and cardboard or wooden boxes. We also equip most crates with a tiltwatch to monitor the shipping; this will ensure a preventative effect against trans-port damages.

Arctiko Project Department is our department that specializes in customer specific refrigeration solutions. We elaborate projects, offer solutions and

carry out installations all over the world in cooperation with our suppliers. We can handle every assignment, especially projects that include low temperature cold rooms

for storage of medicine or other products which require stable temperatures under extreme surroundings.

We offer you solutions from -25/+2°C to -60/-40°C

Our projects are supported by professional sub suppliers, complete documentation, including CAD drawing. Among our projects, we have supplied cold rooms for

medicine storage, and arranged delivery and installation of freezers to multiple sites in Africa, Middle East and Europe. We have also produced -60°C mobile

40ft container solutions for medical companies as emergency cooling capacity.

These are just a few examples of our projects to illustrate how flexible we are in the project department at ARCTIKO.

A number of Arctiko products can be supple-mented by a CO2 back up system for optimized safety. The back up system is supplied with heavy duty internal battery injection indicator and digital display with alarm functions. It injects CO2 in case the temperature inside a freezer rises above a pre-set temperature value.

Our water resistant cryo gloves protect your hands and prevent frost bites, while manipulating

your frozen products in ultra cold environments down to -160°C. They have multi layers of insulation

from the tip of your fingers to your mid-forearms, and can also be used in very high temperatures up to

123°C. Available in different models and sizes.

A GSM alarm module can be connected to the majority of our products. The module sends a text message to one or

several coded telephone numbers in case the tempera-ture of the freezer exceeds the fixed range. The GSM

If you need documentation for the temperature condition over a certain period of time, the Arctiko chart recorder is the optimal solution. A re-

placeable pen is continuously documenting the temperature on a chart which circulates either on 7 days or 24 hour basis. The chart recorder can be built in as an option in many Arctiko products.

The SVS voltage stabilizers monitor the mains voltage continuosly. If the voltage rises or drops, the SVS will stabilize the output to ensure the voltage reaching your equipment remains constant at 230V (+/-6%), within the operating range of the unit.If the voltage falls below 142V or rises above 295V, the SVS will disconnect the output, thereby protecting the load. Once the main voltage returns again within acceptable limits, the SVS will reconnect the output following a start up delay.

The SVS will ensure that your equipment will receive normal, stabilized power which is essential for refrigeration equipment in unsteady power areas to ensure:• Long service operation without damage.• Ensure that the contents of the refrigeration is kept at the optimal temperature.

Our chosen manufacturer is a European based company with many years of experience in making strong and easy to use storage boxes with focus on the customers.A strong polypropylene mixture is used, and the engineers have managed to create a box where the vials do not follow the lid upon opening. The box is equipped with a standard 9x9 divider to provide a storage capacity of 81 samples in each box.
