Reintegration center for former child soldiers in DRCMaster’s degree final project - 2015 - Prof: B.Cache, P. Mestelan, J. Chenal, Y. Pedrazzini - EPFL (Lausanne, CH)

- Meet the locals in Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo) where the center was planned

- Establish with locals the needs for the public part of the project

- Analyze the needs of former child soldiers with the help of several victims

- Conciliate the private part of the project (the reinte-gration center for former child soldiers) with the public one for local inhabitants of the camp (military widows and orphans)

- Create an architecture that can be built with local materials and knowledge

- Use natural ventilation system
