Why This Site?

The site is strategically located between the topography of twin cities and also lies next to new developement of Islamabad City.

This helps in easy circulation towards any part of city through wide highways that are present around the site.

The site is peacefully located at far from main city hustle and bustle.

Prototype Formation

To Achieve one of the main objective, the Project has been carried out in a way to set a Standard Prototype of basic but major facilities that can be used anywhere by just placing the block.

The Prototype block consists of : - 6 Parking Bays with Maintainance Bay also in it. - Day Rooms and Dinning Rooms - Equipment Storage, HAZ/MAT Storage - Dispatch Office

This practise will help in keeping the standard maitained with all the basic but very important facilities to be provided.

To design a facility expansion for Medical Center in Abbottabad city. The design should consist of medical facilities along with area for staying for people accompanying patients.

The patients health and conditions should be well observed and respected. observed and respected.

Design strategy focusses on the element of natural light recources. Therefore it helps in preserving the energy in such energy crisis era.

Also the courtyards helps in creating an interactive space in between the massive blocks.

The master plan has been designed in a way to accomodate the facilities according to their users.

A well maintained area is provided for physical therapy department that consists of gardens and water bodies for an interaction with nature.

Green Applications

To keep in mind the green features the design has been well established to work on green principles that will notonly help in conserving energy but also in setting standards for other facilities to follow this.

Skylights with louvers to let in filtered natural daylight therefore allowing the facility to save energy

Courtyards or open to sky spaces have been provided at different intevals to provide the natural light flow in the facility and also to bring a connection between the green spaces and inside spaces.

Solar panels installed at different heights to make use of solar energy for electricity purpose.

Outdoor spaces used to serve visitors with comfort and a time to relax from

tiring medical routine.

Terraces are provided for hotel residers that consists of green areas. To enhance the experience of views.

Highrise Apartment : Multipurpose

Objective

To design a highrise apartment building that consists of multipurpose spaces and also family apartments that are environment friendly.

Site has been located next to 10th Avenue in Islamabad. Site has been located next to 10th Avenue in Islamabad. The site is proposed for a design of highrise apartment in actual as well.

The design consists of terraces that performs multiple func-tions; re-creational space and protection from summer sun.

The angles of those terraces are designed in such a way that it do not block the much needed winter sun.

All the rooms open into a central area, that can be used for variousfamily pur-poses. Grass grown enhances the greenry of the whole area.

There is a fine coordination with the sun path and the openings made in the structure. The sun Movement keeps the house lit up, during sun

hours.

Animal shed is given rite next to entrance gate. Thus provides easier

circulation of animals.And a store room is also placed for

storage of family uses.

Steel Trusses to be used along the roof span, under corrugated steel sheets. The strength of trusses is highly appreciable, as they form triangular frame with one another. Therefore widely used, in eitheused, in either Wooden form

or steel form.

Cost analysis of whole unit.The cost was kept high preference while

designing this unit facility. So that it becomesfeasible for people to start new living

There is an hollow opening in the wall that rises till 14’ . Basic purpose of the opening is to minimize heat trapped between the ceiling slab and steel corrugated sheet. This phenomenon leads to throwing out of heat

through those openings.

Residential Project: 60x90’

The project consisted of renovation of already constructed ground floor and designing of 1st and 2nd floors. Different options of elevational designs were put forward out of which one got selected and construction work is under process, with almost 70% work has been completed so far.

The diferent options for elevational designs.And also interior setting of living area. Elevations were made with focus of Elevations were made with focus of busy road in front of it. Therefore terraces have been provided with privacy from outside.

The selected option for the design by the client. It consists of duo-color theme of grey and beach color. Materials used are stone and plain paint.

Hotel Royalson, Wah City.

Interior Photography of Hotel was done for local Arhitect. The building consists of multipurpose Halls and hotel rooms, with a 6 Storey Building block.
