All credit card transactions are subject to a 2.5% surcharge. Color Matching • Kroy Sign Systems utilizes the Pantone Matching System (PMS) as its color management system. Please reference a PMS-C (coated) color or a paint manufacturer’s color ie, Dunn Edwards, Sherwin Williams when specifying color. Kroy Sign Systems Color matching in FREE of charge.• Color and finishes are achieved using Matthew’s AcrylicPolyurethane (MAP) Low VOC paint. Surface applied color coatings are protected and sealed with a matte clear topcoat finish unless otherwise specified. Please contact Kroy for optional finishes or to request a sign color sample.• NOTE: The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is a graphic standard most commonly used for ink color matching in digital printing applications. Ink and paint colors vary slightly based on the color opacity and base material substrate. Ink is translucent and reflects on white paper. Paint is opaque and more dense than ink when applied to any substrate. Therefore, paint does not truly reflect the base material and may vary slightly when compared to ink color on paper.

Limited Product Warranty

Kroy Sign Systems warranties its architectural signage products to be free from defects in material and workmanship from the date of original retail purchase and shipment from our manufacturing facility in Scottsdale, Arizona USA.

Products warrantied for a period of 12 months include, but are not limited to:Photopolymer Braille Signs • Raster™ Braille Signs • Kroy Color Signs • Curved Sign Frames • Acrylic Sign Frames • Acrylic Workstation Signs • Acrylic Sign Blanks and Wall Projection Signs • Portable Floor Stands • Polystyrene Inserts • Acrylic Directories and Directionals • Fabricated and Flat Panel Overhead Signs • Acrylic Dimensional Letters • Digital Graphics.

Products warrantied for a period of 60 months include, but are not limited to:Injection Molded Braille Signs • Etched Zinc Braille Signs • Sand-Etched Braille Signs • Thermoformed Braille Signs • Photoluminescent Safety Signs • Injection Molded Sign Frames •Sign Posts • Aluminum Directories and Directionals • Aluminum Dimensional Letters.

Kroy Sign Systems will repair, refinish or replace, at its option and without charge, any standard Kroy Sign Systems’ manufactured sign product or sign component deemed defective. Kroy Sign Systems reserves the right to visually inspect and verify all signs for said defect and may also, at its option, issue a credit to the purchaser in such an amount as it deems reasonable. Kroy Sign Systems will not be obligated to modify, change or otherwise substitute any sign types, materials, graphics, colors or copy from the original sign specification.

Defective product claims must be authorized by a company representative and returned to Kroy Sign Systems with a Return Materials Authorization number (RMA #). Include the dated proof of purchase and a brief description of the said defect with any product return. Defective product returns are prepaid by the purchaser and expected to be in a suitable shipping container.

The manufacturers limited warranty applies only to products manufactured and distributed by Kroy Sign Systems in the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada. Kroy does not warranty any representation or value-added service(s) provided by distributors. These services may include, but are not limited to:

• ADA Standards for Accessible Sign Design. • Federal, state and local building code compliance. • Any sign modifications or alterations to manufactured products.. • Site survey’s and sign programming services. • Sign maintenance, labor, de-installation and installation services.

Additionally, this warranty excludes sign products that are damaged by misuse or neglect, normal wear and tear, color fading, failure to provide reasonable product maintenance, vandalism, acts of nature, accidents and misapplication. It also excludes “interior use only” rated sign materials used in an environment where temperature and humidity are not controlled and subject to changing conditions.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OTHERWISE, EXCEPT AS SET FORTH ABOVE.

KROY SIGN SYSTEMS DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER SUCH WARRANTIES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY INJURY LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT.

THE FORGOING MAY ONLY BE ALTERED OR MODIFIED BY AN AGREEMENT IN WRITING AND SIGNED BY AN EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE COMPANY.

Return Policy

General Product Returns

Extensive product and quality inspections are performed during our manufacturing process to insure that the products you receive achieve the highest quality standards. Careful attention and inspection is also given to packaging and shipping standards to minimize potential damage of goods in transit. Shipping damages, however occasionally occur therefore it is important that receiving inspection procedures be followed BEFORE signing for deliveries.

• Visually inspect all shipments, packaging and sign products upon receipt.

• Report shipping damages immediately to the Freight company and Kroy Sign Systems for claims processing.

• Report product damages to Kroy Sign Systems within 48 HOURS of shipment receipt. All damaged product returns must be authorized by a Kroy Signs representative and include a Return Materials Authorization (RMA#) issued by the representative.

• Authorized returns are expected to be received by Kroy Sign Systems within 30 DAYS of receiving the RMA#. Claims are forfeited if damaged products are not received and validated by Kroy Sign Systems during this time frame.

• Customers are responsible for prepaid return freight charges and packaging pending claims processing.

• General product returns are subject to a 15% verification, inspection and restocking charge. General product returns must include original factory packaging and be free from any markings, labels and installation fasteners.

• Signs manufactured to customer specifications, special order materials, discontinued sign products, promotional and seasonal sign products will not be accepted as general returns.

Return Procedures

• DO NOT DISCARD PACKAGING MATERIALS! Keep materials and products for inspection and to substantiate claims. Report damage immediately to the transportation company. Note damages on the Bill of Lading. Have both receiver and freight driver sign bill for consent.

• Product damages are subject to verification and inspection via digital photographs, transportation claims or product returns.

• Damaged products can be reordered immediately. Kroy Signs will invoice customer for reorders pending claim approval and subsequently credit the valued amount to the original invoice. Return Shipments

• Return Material Authorization (RMA#) numbers must be clearly marked on the outside of all packages. Sign products shall be carefully packaged in a suitable shipping container and forwarded to:

Kroy Sign Systems reserves the unrestricted right to refuse any unauthorized return and discontinue return privileges to any customer that engages in fraudulent, excessive or unethical return practices. Kroy Sign Systems also reserves the unrestricted right to change, modify or amend the general return policy at any time.

Graphics and Artwork Requirements

Customer provided artwork is generally used to produce:

• Signs and sign inserts. • Ready-To-Apply vinyl letters and logos. • CNC router generated dimensional letters and logos. • Full color digital graphics, prints and banners. • Evacuation, safety and orientation maps.

Illustrator and Photoshop files are preferred and more suitable for sign making, vinyl cutting and digital print applications. Art charges may apply if files require modification prior to output.

Fonts

To avoid accidental substitution of fonts used in customer provided artwork, ALL FILES MUST BE CONVERTED TO OUTLINE (Illustrator) OR CURVES (CorelDRAW).

Vector Images

Custom sign panel shapes and layouts, sign inserts, RTA (ready-to-apply) vinyl or CNC router generated letters and logos generally require a “Vector” file be created in either Illustrator (.ai) or CorelDRAW (.cdr).

Other file formats that may or may not be acceptable are .dxf, .dwg, .eps or .pdf. Check with Kroy Sign Systems’ Sign Design Department to verify file type compatibility.

If a digital file is not available, clean black and white artwork is required for accurate scanning and outline reproduction. Art fees will apply.

Bitmap Images

Full color digital graphics, prints, banners, inserts, evacuation, safety and orientation maps generally require a high resolution “Bitmap” file created in Photoshop (.psd) and saved as either a .psd or .tif.

Kroy Sign Systems highly recommends that art files be cropped at 100% percent with a resolution of 75 - 150 dpi for large prints and no greater than 300 dpi for smaller prints. If possible, do not flatten layers in case adjustments must be made prior to output.

Other file formats that may or may not be acceptable are .jpg, .eps, .gif, .png or .pdf. Check with Kroy Sign Systems’ Sign Design Department to verify file type compatibility.

File Preparation

• All files must be converted to outline (Illustrator) or curves (CorelDRAW).• Bitmap images need to be saved full size in no less than 75dpi.• All specific Pantone colors must be clearly identified, if applicable.

Sending Files

File sizes LESS THAN 10MB may be sent via email to: [email protected] Files sizes GREATER THAN 10MB may be uploaded to the Kroy Sign Systems ftp site at: www.kroysignsystems.com/Products/upload_2.html

If you are unable to upload the artwork to our ftp site, files must be submitted on CD, DVD or memory stick.

Call the Kroy Sign Systems Sign Design Department in advance to discuss details regarding artwork services. Artwork, graphics and design services are available. Estimates are based on an established hourly rate.

Color Verification

Colors may vary between computer systems, monitors and printing devices. It is recommended that an original printed copy be mailed to Kroy Sign Systems so that color output can be verified prior to production.

If a printed copy is not available, Kroy Sign Systems may, at it’s own discretion, send to you via USPS a representative printed sample for verification and authorization. Subsequent changes may be sent until Kroy Sign Systems is assured the finished product meets your expectations.
