A reverse turn of the key (while bolt is held retracted) retains the latchbolt, to allow two-way traffic for buildings that require so. Deadlatch can also be operated by an electric release strike. Electrical activation unlocks strike, releasing latchbolt so door can be opened without operating latch itself. When in lock position, the auxiliary bolt is retracted by pushing against the strike and creates additional security to the latchbolt.

The deadlock is identical to the widely used maximum security swinging door lock, except that the laminated bolt is provided in a hook shape to resist the parting motion of sliding door and jam.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

Our products are guaranteed by physical replacement for items with factory defects. If a defect is found during the period of warranty (inquire), Olimpia representative must be notifIed inmediately to do an inspection.

If the order received by the customer is missing a box, Olimpia must be notified within 14 calendar days after clearing customs. This report must be an official report from Customs and made by an inspector during the customs clearing process and not afterwards.

Note: “Report of findings”, this formal process is the only one accepted by the insurance company.
