GENERAL PLUMBING NOTES

CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION TO BE USED IN THE PREPARATION OF PERMANENTRECORD DRAWINGS. FOR THIS PURPOSE, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RECORD IN RED INK ON ONE CLEAN SET OFCONTRACT DRAWINGS ALL CHANGES FROM THE INSTALLATIONS ORIGINALLY INDICATED, AND RECORD FINALLOCATIONS, WHETHER CHANGED OR NOT, OF ALL UNDERGROUND PLUMBING LINES AND VALVES BY DEPTHFROM FINISHED GRADE AND BY ACCURATE HORIZONTAL OFFSET DISTANCES FROM PERMANENT ABOVE GROUNDOBJECTS OR SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS SUCH AS BUILDINGS, CURBS, OR EDGES OF WALKS AND DRIVES. THERED-LINE CHANGES SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE ARCHITECT.

THE LOCATIONS OF EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ARE SHOWN IN AN APPROXIMATE WAY ONLY. EXERCISE CARE SO AS NOT TO CUT ANY EXISTING UTILITIES OR SERVICES. WHERE AN EXISTING UTILITY LINE ORSERVICE LINE IS CUT IT SHALL BE REPAIRED TO "LIKE-NEW" CONDITION. INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE SHALL NOTBE MADE WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION OF THE OWNER.

EXACT LOCATIONS AND ROUGHING REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE DETERMINEDFROM ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS, LARGE SCALE ARCHITECTURAL DETAILS AND APPROVED MANUFACTURER'SSHOP DRAWINGS. INVERT ELEVATIONS SHOWN SHALL BE VERIFIED ON THE JOB BEFORE INSTALLING ANY NEWPIPE. INSTALL TEST-TEES WHEN THE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM IS TO BE TESTED IN SECTIONS.
