garden and house by ryue nishizawa aims to explore the notion of landscape through use of light, transparency and absence of an external facade. garden and greenery is juxtaposed against domestic spaces to abstract modernist principles and it forms an ephemeral, atmospheric and constantly changing environment of light, sound, touch and sensory stimuli.

04 grasshopper intervention

the central staircase serves as the core circulation of the project. the aim of my intervention using grasshopper was to embel-lish this design and form a central space with varied aperture panels that FILTER light in different ways throughout the day in different spaces, creating an atmoshperic and canopy-like ascension through the staircase.
