    Stan Goldberg is a veteran, award-

    winning comic book artist who

    has worked more than sixty years

    in the industry and is best known

    for illustratingArchie comics for

    more than four decades. He startedhis career at age sixteen in 1949

    as a sta colorist for Timely (now

    known as Marvel Comics). Two years later he became the

    color department manager, and colored not just interiors,

    but every cover throughout the fties. In 1958 Goldberg

    went freelance, but continued to work for Marvel until

    the mid-1960s, designing the color for all of their classic

    super heroes and villains, including Spider-Man, the

    Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and the Incredible Hulk. He

    has also illustrated for DC Comics, National Lampoon,

    Redbook, Seventeen, Ms., Working Woman, and many other

    magazines. Stan Goldberg lives in Beechhurst, New York.

    Jon Goldwater is the son of Archie

    Comics founder, publisher, and editor

    John L. Goldwater. The Archie line

    of comic books is one of the most

    successful, longest running series

    of titles in the history of the comics

    industry (their rst comic was published

    in 1939). Goldwater began his career

    twenty years ago as partner at Zak Concerts, the Japanese

    concert promoter. He is the former president and CEO of

    AFA Music Group, Ltd., and the executive producer of the

    lm The Return of Supery (1990). He has also served as

    president and CEO of Crash Management Inc. Using his

    experience in the entertainment industry, Goldwater planson bringing the gang from Riverdale to a larger multimedia

    audience. He is the driving force behind the Archie Comics

    digital initiative as well as building new partnerships in

    the publishing and entertainment industries. He is also

    developing new projects focusing on not just Archie, Betty,

    Veronica, Jughead, and Reggie, but other long-standing

    Archie properties as well, such as Katy Keene, Lil Jinx,

    the Red Circle Heroes, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Josie

    and the Pussycats, Cosmo the Merry Martian, Pat the

    Brat, Wilbur Wilkins, Bingo Wilkins, and Suzie and Sam

    Hill, to name just a few. Jon Goldwater looks forward to

    expanding the role of his familys company, Archie Comic

    Publications, to prominence in the comic book medium aswell as in other media.

    Victor Gorelick is the co-president/

    editor-in-chief of Archie Comics

    Publications, Inc., and has been working

    at Archie Comics for almost fty years.

    He joined Archie as an art assistant

    in October 1958, and over the years

    has served as production manager, art

    director, and managing editor. Gorelick

    has unique knowledge of every facet of the editorial

    process required to create and publish successful comics.

    He has been a writer, colorist, letterer, and everything in

    between. He has developed a keen sense for producing good,clean, wholesome content for Archie Comics. Through

    the years he has helped to build a bond of trust with Archie

    readers of all ages. Gorelick has worked closely with

    numerous companies and organizations, designing and

    producing various custom comic books. For example, he

    has overseen collaborations between Archie Comics and

    Kraft General Foods, Radio Shack, Alcoholics Anonymous,

    the City and County of San Diego, and even the FBI. He was

    on the Comic Magazine Association of Americas ComicsCode Authority Guidelines Committee, and is a member

    of the Board of Advisors for the Joe Kubert School, where

    many of todays comics artists develop their craft. He also

    teaches cartooning in the College for Kids program at

    Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York.

    Jack Morelli is an author (Heroes of the

    Negro Leagues, Abrams, 2007), artist, and

    designer. He has worked in production and

    editorial at Marvel Comics, freelance for

    DC Comics and Archie Comics, and has

    been a comic book hand letterer for more

    than thirty years. He lives in upstate NewYork with his wife Christie Scheele and

    their twins.

    Bob Smith was born in Aberdeen,

    Washington, in 1951. Raised in Grayland,

    Washington, he left the family cranberry

    farm after graduating with a degree

    in ne art from Western Washington

    State College. He moved to New York in

    1975, and found work as an inker for DC

    Comics. Twenty-three years and several

    comic book publishers later, he landed at Archie Comics.

    Since 1998, Bob Smiths work has appeared in numerous

    Archie titles and on the Archie newspaper strip. In 2009 hemoved back to Washington, and lives in Covington.

    Michael Uslan is an award-winning

    writer and executive producer of

    the Batman lms, most recently The

    Dark Knight(2008), the third highest

    grossing lm in movie history. He was

    the rst instructor to teach comics

    at an accredited university (Indiana

    University in 1970) and wrote the rst

    textbook on comics, The Comic Book in

    America. His autobiography, The Boy Who Loved Batman,

    is being published in Spring 2011. Uslan lives in Montclair,New Jersey.

    Glenn Whitmores comic book

    ambitions began at age ten, when he

    rst attended the Joe Kubert School

    of Cartoon and Graphic Art. Glenn

    graduated in 1987. A year later he began

    an eleven-year run as colorist on the

    Superman titles for DC Comics, which

    included landmark storylines of the

    heros engagement, death, return, and marriage to Lois

    Lane. For more than twenty years, Glenn has also provided

    color to popular comic book titles such as The Power of

    Shazam, Justice Society, Nexus, and most recently, Archie.He lives in Succasunna, New Jersey.
