T1, T2 and T3 indicators have a switch leverfor reversing the direction of movement.Lever pivots are mounted in ball bearings.Fitted with 4mm or 1/4'' dia.top spigot andholder body side clamp which accepts rodsup to 6.5mm (0.256'').Indicator body machined with dovetail to suitattachments.

T3 also supplied with a dovetail clamp.

T6 and G Indicators are designed around theneed for a long Stylus to overcome manymeasuring problems, supplied with roundpoint only.

T8 Dial Indicators incorporate an automatic reversal movement. Their rugged design and fine graduations provide maximum versatility for use in either the workshop or inspection department. Clamping facilities back and front by means of a dovetail andby a spigot at the top. Lever pivots are mounted in ball bearings.

Twin Indicator

DIACATOR

FOR PRECISE CONCENTRICAL ALIGNING

The DIACATOR is an instrument with a stationary indicator and a rotating probe for fast and accurate concentricalalignment of bores and shafts on most rotary machinetools.

Applications:

Concentrical alignment of boxes and shafts on milling,drilling and boring machines; Alignment of the footstock onmilling and cylindrical grinding machines and of thetailstock on lathes; Accurate concentrical alignment ofindexing heads and tables, of grinding fixtures, of drillsleeves in tool holders and of many other special fixtures.

Design Features:

The DIACATOR is mounted in two suspension ballbearings that render it entirely free from play. The probeyoke is provided with a safety clutch as a precautionagainst damage to the instrument should the probe hangup on some obstacle while in motion.

Advantages:

Contrary to other aligning methods, the machine is inmotion during the aligning operation. Thus alignment takes place under the same conditions (uniform oil film on spindlebearings and constant speed) as the subsequent work. The dial remains stationary and is positioned to face the operator sothat he may conveniently and accurately follow the process. During alignment the revolving probe and the working spindle form a single unit. Possible off centre of the tool chuck caused by an inaccurate chuck, closer, sleeve, etc , in no way influences the centering operation or its accuracy.
