1.2 (i) Flexibility of the Curriculum: CBCS/Core/Elective option / Open options
CBCS is implemented in the First Year. Our institute offers Gujarati English and Economics as the core subjects in Arts stream. Chemistry and Microbiology subjects are offered as the core subjects in Science stream while Accountancy is core subject in Commerce. So the students have limited number of choices in their subject selection. The electives and others are decided by VNSGU, Surat.

College is affiliated to VNSGU, Surat and syllabus is framed by Boards of different subjects of
university. Heads of various departments are members of Boards in their respective subjects

The college intends to make most of classes digitized. So classes are run by college to make
faculty accustom with use of technology in teaching and learning.

College has bought SOUL software. Digitization of library will start after faculty will go for
training.
College has Cricket play ground, Volley ball court and Kho Kho ground.
Institution sanctions duty leave for research work/FIP/ participation in conferences. Evaluation
of faculty by students and self-appraised exits with scope for letter utilization of result. The
procedure of staff recruitment is in accordance with the guidelines of UGC and

Students of PGDMLT go for “Hands on Training” for one month in nearby hospitals, clinical

The admission in the First Year UG Programs in all faculties is given on the basis of merit prepared by the institute as per the score of the applicant at HSC level while admission in the PG Programs is given by VNSGU, Surat on the basis of merit prepared by the University

increase proficiency in English is made mandatory for First year students.
Our college has created a corpus fund for welfare of students and sponsoring fees for

NCC, NSS and planning forum of the college annually go for “Tree plantation” in the
vicinity and in the campus.
College celebrates “Swachchata Abhiyan ” once in a year and students are encouraged
to participate by giving prizes
