• Welcome Dinner and formal address by Vice-Chancellor of the ANU, Professor Ian Chubb, APRU Secretary General Laurence Loh and Professor Andrew McIntyre (APSEG) at the Scarth Room, University House
Day Session:•Introduction: Welcome and explanation of the program.
•Session One: Great power politics and regional security implications
•Managing Great Power relationships in the Asia Pacific region(China/US; US/Asia; China/Asia; North Korea; Japan).
•Lunch: walk to Botanic Gardens and lunch at Hudson’s Café
•Session Two: Terrorism and Islam
•Regional cooperation and the challenge of transnational terrorism: Muslims in Australia: domestic experiences in other countries
