We want everyone to be a part of our growth from day one and come to our groundbreaking ceremony on May 5 at 9:30 a.m. at the South Dade YMCA Family Center. The Ceremony kicks off the 14-16 month construction of an expanded YMCA Family Center that will provide more programs and services designed especially for you. When the new South Dade YMCA Family Center opens, members can look forward to more opportunities and programming that promotes healthy living, youth development and social responsibility with an expanded wellness program, youth and teen programming, older adult specialized classes and activities. Plans for an onsite swimming pool, perfect for swim lessons, lap swim, water aerobics, or just a family day of fun at the pool is also in the works. There’s another great reason to come out May 5. The South Dade YMCA Family Center is offering a no membership joining fee opportunity that day for new members. How can you pass that up? The Y makes Miami a better community by bringing people together.
