HAVE YOU HERD…
Summer, Summer, Summer!!! Hello Residents! Summer break is quickly approaching which means finals and move out day are coming soon. Don’t let April be a stressful month for you. There are many fun activities planned in order to assist you in your academic endeavors and socially. Please remember that the hall staff is here to help you. Utilize them and ask any questions you may have.
There are a few important dates you should be made aware of since the semester is coming to a close. Sunday, April 15th your building will be holding a closing procedures meeting in order to let you know what you need to complete before you check out of the halls for summer break. Be sure you attend this meeting. In order to help you study we will be enforcing 24-hour quiet hours on April 27th and they will last until the end of the semester. Don’t forget that the halls will officially
close down on Saturday, May 5th at noon. Please make arrangements ahead of time to ensure checkout can be completed by this time. If you are a graduating senior, summer school resident, or a member of the band participating in the graduation ceremonies you may seek permission to stay in your hall until 2:00 p.m. by completing a late checkout form and returning to your Resident Director by May 1st. This does not apply to students living in North and South.
Are you taking summer classes? If you need a place to stay be
sure to visit our website or stop by the Department of Housing and Residence Life to pick up you housing application. Those people taking Intersession courses will be able to move into their assignments on May 5th. When your room is available you will receive a phone call telling you to move in. If you have any questions regarding summer housing please feel free to contact the office at 304-696-6766.
