The deacons have a series of service projects lined up with various local organizations. Our "service season" will once again run between Easter and Pentecost and there are activities planned for nearly each week in-between, starting Saturday, April 11th through May 30. Sign-up sheets are available on the table in the foyer. Pick one or more event to participate in and be a shining light within our community. We are very excited to reach out into our community in this way and hope that each of you will see a project that fits your schedule and your interests! Everyone who was at the previous breakfasts is encouraged to come again and bring someone who missed last time. E-mail Keith at [email protected] so we can plan the amount of food we need.REFUGEE SUNDAY and POTLUCK: April 12th has been designated by the denomination to be Refugee Sunday. We decided to mark it in a special way by inviting the Khai and Muang families to help in the worship service. They will be joined by their friends from Windsor who were also refugees. After the service there will be a potluck lunch for anyone who would like to stay. In Burma, the Chin people would stay at church and eat together on Sundays. Bring whatever you want, main dish, salads or dessert and make enough to feed a family of 6 or 8.EXTRA refrigerator space is available in the OLD KITCHEN feel free to place your salads, desserts, etc. down there before the church service.Hope to see you all there. If you have any questions, please ask Alice or Myrna.SALVATION ARMY VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION OPEN HOUSE: The Salvation Army Chatham Kent Ministries can not do all that it does without the help of our volunteers. Every year we have an Open Houses to say Thank You. Please mark your calendar as we would love to see you there. YOUTH MINISTRIES

JUNIOR YOUTH:JUNIOR YOUTH: Students in Grade 6-8 are invited to join us on Tuesday, April 7 from 7-9 pm.YOUTH:YOUTH GROUP: TONIGHT: There is no Youth Group tonight. NEXT WEEK: We will be volunteering with the Friendship dinner immediately following the evening service.

YOUNG ADULTS:YOUNG ADULTS: All those ages 18 to 25ish are invited to join us for Bible Study at Pastor Jake's home on Wednesday night at 8 pm.

CHURCH SCHOOL: Classes will run until Sunday, April 19.

NEW MEMBERS/PROFESSION OF FAITH CLASSES: Classes will be offered this May and June for anyone who is considering making their public Profession of Faith, for anyone who has recently started attending Grace church and would like to know more about the Reformed church, or for anyone who has already made Profession of Faith and would like to take the classes again. Please contact Pastor Jake for more information or to indicate your interest.
