ISearch Local – Next Steps • Three original pilot sites will “go live” first
“Go Live” means if logged in or IP detected as that district, an ISearch widget on the INFOhio website will automatically offer a dropdown for building/district profile selection.
– Hudson, Shaker Heights, and Paulding – Hudson and Shaker ISearch will include eResource
Central support of their Overdrive subscription, which is a premium service.

ISearch Local – User Access • Districts/Schools will be able to place ISearch
widget on library web pages • “All Libraries” in that district will be available
by default. In addition, individual libraries can also be defined.
• INFOhio will be not able to identify visitors to the INFOhio website down to the building level, so like the CAT widget, a dropdown will need be used.

INFOhio - What’s new Wednesday
ISearch – Scheduling Challenges
• Scalability – its all in the platform – Current platform vs. BLUEcloud – Very similar in construction of the OPAC that
comes with BLUEcloud platform, how much work is to be done now only to have to redo the same work in the next 12 months?
• Scripts by SirsiDynix – Start walking now or wait for the bicycle – Workflow time for each instance with scripts February 25, 2015 30
INFOhio - What’s new Wednesday
ISearch Local – Moving on • Do what we know to do
– Collect ITC data as soon as possible – Begin manually configuring Symphony instances – Configure one ITC at a time
• Plan around the scheduling challenges – Create 6 or so ITC groupings with minimal library
code duplication – Get scripts, test them, do time-study
• Keep tracking the Enterprise to BLUEcloud migration schedule
