INSTRUCTIONS TO TAKE THE BALOO TRAINING MODULE

1. Login to your my.scouting.org account.

2. Once logged in, click on “My Dashboard.”

3. In My Dashboard, click on “Training Center” in the center of the screen.

4. In the next view click on the arrow at the right of Cub Scouting.

5. You will be redirected to the ScoutingU webpage.

6. Click on “Course Catalog” at the top of the screen.

7. On the next page scroll down a little until you see BALOO Prerequisite Training.

8. Click on the blue BALOO Prerequisite Training link.

9. In the next screen, click on the blue “+” at the right to add the training plan to your list.

10. Click on the BALOO link once more to begin the training.

11. There are 8 sections to this training. Click on “Launch” to begin the section.

12. Once the section is completed, click “Back” to begin the next section of the training

module.

13. Once you have completed all of the sections of the training, just above the completed

sections on the right side of the screen, there will be a “View Certificate” box you can

click on to print out your certificate to show completion of this training module.
