Stewardship is the act of managing wisely the resources entrusted to us by God; it is the attitude of the heart. Money is a vehicle that represents the condition of our heart. Generosity is a willingness to share with others that involves personal sacrifice. What’s New with the Take Root Initiative? If you missed the two recent videos sharing a personal Take Root testimony and highlighting the Pencils for Africa project be sure to visit takerootccob.org to get caught up. Suggestions include: (new) body wash, scented hand-soap, candles, magazines, books, beauty products, etc. Help Make a Dierence in a Child’s Life Vacation Bible School | June 18 - 22 | Oak Brook Make a lasting impact on our youth who attend Vacation Bible School this summer. With 300 children registered, we need your help to welcome 30 children oour wait list! We currently have a small army of committed volunteers, but it is going to take many to make this week safe and memorable. Rebuild volunteers will be repairing damaged homes. No experience necessary. Meals and sleeping quarters will be provided. The only cost of the trip is transportation to and from the work site.
