Upcoming Important Dates
Program AdsNow is the time to place your keepsake ad in our Recital Program! This is a wonderful way to pay tribute to your dancer for his/her dedication during the year. It is also a great way to honor your dancer for dancing in their 1st recital, 5, 10 or 15 years, competition dancer, or just because you are proud of them. Please fill out the below Google Form to place your keepsake ad. All 1/4 page ads and larger will receive a FREE program at the recital. The cost of the recital program is $10 and can be ordered with your tickets on April 19. Ad orders must be placed by April 19.

Business Ads: We are also offering ad space to local business in our program. We sell hundreds of programs at recital and they are looked at for years to come. Stop by the front desk for a form.
Ticket Sales Tickets for our spring recital (held May 11) will go on sale on Friday, April 19- ONLINE ONLY. At 6:00pm, a google form will become active and families will be able to purchase tickets for our Spring Recital. Then at midnight on Sunday, April 21, the form will close and tickets will only be available in the studio M-Th 5:00-8:00pm. Tickets are $8 each and families are limited to purchase 10 for the first week. See page 3 of this newsletter for more information

Recital Line UpsRecital assignments have now been posted in the lobby of the studio. Assigning dancers to recitals is a tedious endevour and one that we do not take lightly. We take into consideration families with multiple dancers (however we are not always able to get families in the same recital) and number of families in each recital to ensure we have plenty of tickets for everyone. We also strive to keep each recital short and sweet. Most dance classes will only perform in ONE recital (however it is a good idea to check all lineups to make sure) and you will only need to attend the finale of the recital you are in. Please let us know if you have any questions about your recital.

Don't forget about your Big/Little. If you don't see them at the competition feel free to utilize the mailboxes at the back of Studio B to exchange notes and gifts.
Recital signups:Confirm spelling of dancers' name for program and verify t-shirt sizes for the custom designed finale shirt that everyone will . This can be done by stopping by the lobby and filling out the form on the wall. It is a traditional fit shirt, available in the following sizes: YXS (4-6) YS (6-8), YM (10-12), YL (14-16), AS, AM, AL, AXL, and 2XL. Please do so by April 12 or we will select a size for you. Everyone will receive a finale shirt, it is included with the recital package.
Years of Dance Awards and perfect attendance: ISDC will honor all dancers who have completed 5, 10 or 15 years of dance. On the walls of the lobby are sign up lists if your dancer is to receive an award this year for completing 5, 10 or 15 years of dance. If all of these years have been at In Step, sign up for your award on the ISDC list. If your dancer has danced one or more years outside of In Step then you will sign up for your award on the cumulative award list. Gymnastics or tumbling does not count as a year of dance and taking multiple styles of dance in one year only counts as one year.
Backstage Mom Volunteers: Every year, our wonderful backstage moms ensure our recitals go off without a hitch. We are looking for willing moms to help out with each of our Intro, Combo and 1-4 grade classes. Their responsibilities will include helping with changes, lineups and overall upkeep for the dancers. Ticket SalesFirst: Your dance account must be paid in full
including May tuition before you can purchase
tickets. Payments must be made by Friday April 19.
If you are on automatic payment, we will run credit
cards on Friday, April 19. If you do NOT want your
credit card run on this day you must EMAIL the
studio [email protected] before April 17.
Tickets for our spring recital are $8 each. The
auditorium is reserved seating so each ticket will
have a seat assigned to it. Anyone who needs a
seat will need a ticket, children 4 and under who will
sit on a lap do not need a ticket. Each family will be
limited to purchasing 10 tickets each to their recital
for the first week (April 19- April 24) to give everyone
an opportunity to purchase tickets. Starting April 29,
the remaining tickets will be available first come first
serve.
There are 2 ways to purchase tickets:
1. Google Form: On Friday, April 19 starting at
6:00pm, fill out the google form which will be
included in an email, on facebook and on our
website. WE WILL NOT HAVE SALES AT THE
STUDIO ON THIS DAY. No need to stand in line.
On this form you will select the number of tickets
you would like for your recital (make sure you select
the correct recital for you). If you have siblings in
different recitals you will be permitted to select up to
10 tickets for each recital. If you have preferences
where to sit, you may make a note on this form, for
instance: “we want to sit on an aisle”, “we prefer to
be in the middle”, “I want as close to the stage as
possible”, etc. We will try to meet your requests if
available. You may also order recital programs
($10), souvenir bears ($10), upgrade your recital
DVD to a flash drive ($5) and preregister for next
year at the reduced rate of just $10 ($20 for family)
which is a $25 savings on this form. This form will
remain online until midnight on Sunday, April 21. On
Monday morning we will begin pulling tickets from
this form in the order they were submitted. We will
take into consideration your preferences and where
on the stage your dancer dances and pull the best
seats available for you. We can either charge your
credit card on file or you can pay by check at pickup
(you choose on the form). You will have until April 25
to pay for and pick up your tickets at the front desk
or they are returned to the inventory.
2. In Studio: Starting on Monday April 22, we will
only sell recital tickets in the lobby during normal
studio hours (M-Th 5:00-8:00pm, W
10:00-11:30am). The form will no longer be
available for ordering. There is still a limit of 10
tickets per family for this first week. Starting on
Monday April 29, the remaining tickets will go on
sale with no limit per family.
