Parent Group

The annual KMS Staff Appreciation Lunch

will be held on Thursday, May 17th, (early release

day). The organizing committee is seeking donations

of gift cards, gift certificates, gift basket items, or mon-

etary donations to help with the raffle and catering

costs. KMS has about 115 staff, and this year our goal

is to be able to give each staff person some small gift of

thanks for all they do for our children. Therefore, one

or more small gift cards or certificates ($5-$15) would

be most helpful. Does your company do matching dona-

tions or in-kind gifts of merchandise? If so, please ask

them if they can contribute to this worthy cause

too! Checks can be made out to: Keene Middle School

Parent Group.

After spring break, we will send out another

call for food donations and volunteers to help work at

the event. Note for planning and scheduling: May 17th

is an early release day!

Look for more information on the Staff Appreci-

ation Lunch and other KMS Parent Group activities on

our Facebook page: Keene Middle School Parent

Group.

Thank you in advance for your help with mak-

ing this event a success and a wonderful day for our

deserving KMS teachers and staff! Many thanks to the

families that supported the dance in February. The do-

nations and chaperone help were much appreciated.

The spring book fair is around the corner. Details &

volunteer needs will be announced in the near future.

Next meeting: Thursday, April 5th, 6-7 PM in

the library. Childcare is available. Hope to see you

there. Please join our Facebook group – “Keene Middle

School Parent Group.” This is our primary communi-

cation tool.

The Evolution Dance Team will travel to Conval

High School on April 15th for the SMS Annual Dance

Competition starting at 9:00 a.m. Come support the

Team and enjoy a morning of amazing dance!!! The

Dance Showcase will be on May 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the
