Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at 9:30 am at Beckett’s Café Meeting Room Present: John Yaple, Jennifer Reaves, Brandi Haddock, Allen Hall, Chris Nickle, Judy Lowe, Forrest Stodghill,

Kandace Yaple, Jesse Bruce, Seth Dermott and Jessica Hubbard Staff Present: Kim Cox Roll call was taken by sign in. Meeting was called to order by President John Yaple. Motion was made to approve agenda as emailed. Motion made to approve the minutes from the February BOD meeting as emailed. John welcomed new BOD member, Mr. Jesse Bruce and formally installed him as a 1-year director, replacing

Robert Dodson. Allen Hall, Officer/Treasurer 1. Received financials for March 2018 as emailed. Motion made and approved to accept financials for

March and YTD. 2. Reviewed Edward Jones portfolio. No motions made; income still up. Chris Nickle, MLS Chair/1 Year Director 1. Committee held a discussion on agency disclosure. Item is tabled temporarily, Task Force bringing forth

more information on topic. 2. Motion made to request that input of all listings be entered as whole addresses. (exa: County Road, not

CR, or Cty Rd or Cnty Rd) 3. Motion made that the rule of adding a listing within 72 hours of a signed listing, have added to it: If a member has a listing that is found in SOMO MLS and is NOT in OGAR, there will be an automatic $100 penalty and then 5 days to add said listing. If still not input after the 5 days, an additional $100 penalty will be added, as well as a letter to the broker, if after 5 additional days, it’s still not input in OGAR MLS, there is an automatic 30 day suspension from MLS, as well as from usage of their Sentrilock keycard and

lockbox access. President’s Report – John Yaple

1. NAR request for how 2018 is going; comments given. 2. State Director travel; finance committee to review for any changes. 3. MR Leadership Academy; students should apply through OGAR. AE’s Report – Kim Cox 1. Discussed scam artists trying to pose “For Sale” listings as rentals. The BOD agrees that a public

education article and/or commercial would be good. 2. NAR is increasing their 2019 dues by $30. 3. Tech vendors emailing members trying to get access to the MLS. 4. Random audit of listings still going well; data being confirmed.
