Business Proposals!

In April, the grade 7’s had a chance to design a business proposal for a product or a service. The proposal had to include a company name, product or service name, a brief explanation of what the service or product does, a catchy slogan, a gimmick or sales pitch and a logo of their service/product. Achievements etc.This was great for the students to prepare for their future! After they applied, the five companies’ presidents had to pick 5 people that they interviewed based on their resume and interview.

New Math Unit: Fraction Operations! On April 20th the grade 7 classes got to learn about fractions, more importantly learn how to add, subtract and multiply fractions. In this unit we participated in many fun group activities. The grade 7 had a blast learning about fraction operations.

Track and Field!

On April 28th, 2016, grades 2-8 had Track and Field Day. The students enjoyed being active and participating in many events. Such as…

• Running Long Jump • Triple Jump • Standing Long Jump • Sprints

• Long-Distance Running • Football Throw • Jawline • Shot put

Depending on placements, some students went to the Birchmount Stadium to compete with other schools. The students enjoyed the day.
