It had a been a little while since I had been out, and I think I underestimated my ability toparty. I thought I was in fine form but reality kicked in fast the next morning and therecovery was not great.  Can definitely blame the B52 shots at the Champagne Bar and Icompletely underestimated how hard it is to pull up the next day after getting home waytoo late..…  The next days recovery saw me spending the entire day lying beside the pool,under an umbrella, overlooking the beach...and an early night.

3 months prior I began a course of Lactic Peels. I would have a peel at 3week intervals. A lactic peel is like a gentler alpha hydroxy acid, lacticpeels kept my skin hydrated by drawing and binding moisture into theskin. I was a little pink for a few hours after each peel, although mymake-up sits well on my skin and my skin feels fresh.

1 week before the wedding I got a Spa Goddess treatment - to exfoliateand prep my skin perfectly for my Spray Tan appointment that I wasbooked in for 2 days before the wedding... just take the glow off my lilywhite legs.

3-5 days before the wedding I checked in for my lash and brow tintingand facial waxing. There is a certain age where one does not see all thefine fluff, but snotty little nieces and nephews tell everyone that you havea moustache… at the same time I got my manicure and pedicure. WithShellac, as this allows me the confidence to get it done earlier as I know itwill last for the 2 weeks it is supposed too.
