Moby Dick Comes to Covington Marathon and ReceptionApril 25 - April 28To highlight the exhibition Moby Comes to Covington, participate in a Marathon Reading of Herman Melville’s Moby-Dick on April 25 and 26 from 9 am to 9 pm each day. On Monday, April 27, a full-day sympo-sium on Moby Dick and the Arts at NKU will be followed by a reception for student artists and guest speakers.

Teen Poetry ContestApril 1-28Enter your writing into our first ever Erlanger Teen Poetry Contest! Submit entries online April 1-15, then visit the branch to vote for your favorites April 20-27. Winners will be chosen by popu-lar vote and staff judges. Prizes include signed YA books and bookstore gift cards. Only 1 entry per person. Submis-sions will be taken starting April 1.

Early Childhood Literacy FairAges 1-6Saturday, April 18, 10:30 am-1:30 pmJoin us for the annual Early Childhood Literacy Fair featuring a performance by Zak Morgan, balloon animals, a strolling magician, activities from the Contemporary Art Center and the Cincinnati Museum Center, and free developmental screening from First Steps for children 0-36 months old. There will be plenty of prizes for children and the first 400 children will receive a free book. The fair is funded by the Kenton County Community Early Childhood Council which receives money from KidsNow! and the Governor’s Office of Early Childhood.
