The community service in March brought in 764 stuffed animals for the fire station kits. The top donating clubs were: Princeton Elementary 255 Curtis Elementary 90 CNP 72 Bossier Elementary 50 Special thanks to the Cloverbud members for their contribution of 29 stuffed animals.

CONGRATULATIONS to Tyler McDonald, who won the Bossier Parish 4-H Shooting Sports T-Shirt Design Contest. The design is on T-shirts which were worn by the shooting team at the North Louisiana shooting sports competition. Tyler is also the State Shooting Sports Ambassador for the Northwest Region and is very active in the shooting sports program. Tyler is a senior at Benton High School.

16, 4:00pm. You may bring guests/parents/friends, but they must pay the $4.00

also, if they plan to eat with us.

Bossier Parish 4-H Fundraiser Raffle The two club leaders for selling the most raffle tickets are Shetwan Roberison of Haughton Middle School who sold 401 tickets and Nancy Moore of Elm Grove Elementary School who sold 200 tickets. They each will receive a $100 VISA gift card. The two winning raffle tickets were drawn at 4:00pm on Monday, March 17, and the recipients will each receive a $200 VISA gift card. The winners are Marlys Marlow of Bossier City (ticket sold by Elizabeth Gallagher, leader at Curtis Elementary) and Eileen Ballard of Waskom Texas (ticket sold by Kristena Wroblewski, leader of CNP). A HUGE THANK YOU to all of the leaders who participated in this fundraising event.

This camp is only offered to a parish every 4 years, and this is Bossier’s year to attend Marsh Maneuvers. Are you ready to go cast netting, fishing, crabbing, water chemistry testing, seining, seafood processing, boating and much more? And, at no cost to you!! Those attending will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in south Louisiana. Registration forms may be picked up at the 4-H office located on the Fourth Floor of the Courthouse Building in Benton and returned by Thursday, May 1, to the 4-H office.
