Greetings GSHBA members,

It doesn’t seem like the snow is ever going to melt. With a

little luck we will be cutting the grass by July!

I have to extend a big Thank You to everyone that helped with the 2013 Home and Gar-

den Show. It was a HUGE success. We had a very good turnout for the show. We have

many booths booked for next year and the planning stages are already under way. Next

year will be even bigger and better so you won’t want to miss it.

The Parade is rapidly approaching and I am excited to go on the tour. I know the builders

will have some great ideas to showcase there work. There are plenty of ways to partici-

pate even if you don’t have a home in the parade. The parade book is being updated

and will be full color this year. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to advertise your

company in the parade booklet. You can contact the GSHBA office for more details.

Don’t forget that the scholarships are coming up and if you know someone that would be

interested, in applying please have them contact the GSHBA office.

Next month’s meeting will be at Shooter’s. It is our auction night and if you would like to

bid on advertising opportunities you need to be present. There will also be quite a few

silent auction items for you to bid on. I have decided that some of our proceeds this year,

will be donated to Big/Brother Big/Sister and The Boys and Girls Club.

as well as the talents of their subs and the products of their suppliers. Parade attendance has always been good

and we’re anticipating another blockbuster Parade! Take a few minutes now to complete the agreement en-

closed in this issue to reserve advertising space in the 2013 Parade Book. The book reaches approximately

2,000 highly qualified customers, and historically, has an excellent shelf life. The Parade of Homes Committee
