Program Financial Status
Status Date: 30 April 2012
Note-The value in each phase represents the total of full project budgets.
The OPSB has $38.6 million in open contracts for the Phase 1 capital program projects after issuing no new contracts, change orders and amendments in April. In addition, the total change orders to date, $493 thousand, accounts for approximately two percent (1.87%) of the total open Phase 1 construction contracts. Finally, OPSB anticipates issuing $12 million in contracts in Phase 1 construction and $175 thousand in professional services contracts/amendments in May.
The RSD has $344 million in open contracts for the Phase 1 capital program projects after issuing no new contracts and $175 thousand in change orders and amendments in April. In addition, the total change orders to date, $7 million, accounts for approximately two percent (2.22%) of the total open Phase 1 construction contracts. Finally, RSD anticipates issuing no Phase 1 construction contracts and $6 thousand professional services contracts/amendments in May.

Overview
Recovery School District:
The RSD has $417 million in open contracts for the capital program
after issuing $81 thousand in new contracts and $8.7 million in
change orders and amendments in April. In addition, the total
change orders to date, $8.3 million, account for approximately two
percent (2.5%) of the total open construction contracts. RSD
anticipates issuing approximately $2.4 million in construction contracts
and $36 thousand in professional service contracts/amendments in
May.
Orleans Parish School Board:
The OPSB has $50.3 million in open contracts for the capital program
after issuing no new contracts, change orders or amendments in
April. In addition, the total change orders to date, $840 thousand,
account for approximately three percent (2.88%) of the total open
construction contracts. OPSB anticipates issuing approximately $16
million construction contracts and professional service contracts in
May.
