This is the time to fertilize dormant grasses to improve yards. If the EPA replaced your yard in the last year or two, this is the best time to over seed to get yards full of grass and make them weed resistant. Using fertilizers with crabgrass killers is great to help your yard overcome crab-grass. If you don’t have crabgrass, consider us-ing fertilizer with broad leaf weed killer. There are also options available that help grass with-out any killers in them, which are great for the grass plants.
