It is always a pleasure to see my dedicated ‘force’ outshine each other in their battle for supremacy. Team SISA is booming in success in every corner of the country and thereby gradually dominating the security services industry in India. As Chairman of this organization, I take this opportunity to salute my staff for their proactive zeal to excel in a

highly competitive market. I am proud of our team leader and Managing Director, Sameer for leading by example. He has steered the company from a humble startup to a giant among our peers. I must mention here that the superlative efforts put in by our Vice President, Virendra Pandey, has been instrumental in achieving much of the successes that we have achieved. There are many, who deserve kudos for their individual and collective efforts and I thank each one of them.

SISA is poised to being the top three companies in our domain and we must strive hard to accomplish this goal. I have complete faith in the competence and loyalty of my team and sooner than thought, we are certain to be in the ‘big three league’. We must however take cautious and judicious decisions so that we do not go overboard and commit tactical errors. My senior managers are always on my radar and I closely follow every action that they take. Our aim is to keep rising up the ladder and never fall in an attempt to go on an overdrive. SISA Times is the face of our organization and read across a

wide segment of employees and customers. It is therefore

This is a good example of humanitarian act shown by

Ahmedabad Branch

Our guard Sh. Baldevbhai S. Parmar(LIC-L.DNO-49656) expired

on 9th June 2018 while returning to his home after duty hours.

This is a little Gesture/Consolidation, by Ahmedabad Staff, they

jointly collected INR 22,400/- and handed over to the Deceased

Family on 13th June 2018. They’ve also submitted the Death

Certificate and contribution list of the deceased family to the PF

Department so that PF and ESIC advantage can be given to the

deceased family.

Punjab --- It’s Rich Culture & Heritage

The term Punjab originates from the Persian language Panj (Five) and Ab

(Water), combined together the word becomes Panjab or Punjab, the land of

Five rivers. Indus River is the largest river in this five rivers system and the

five other rivers on the south eventually join Indus or merge into it later in the

downstream of the Punjab valley. All the rivers start and flow out of the

Himalayas. The other five rivers are Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej.

Punjabi Culture is evident from Punjabi philosophy, poetry, spiritually,

education, artistry, music, dance and Cinema. The Punjabi Culture is rich and

dynamic in its own ways. Bhangra is one of the ways that Punjabi musical art

form is increasingly performed on the occasion of marriage. The Punjab has

many dance forms which are usually performed at times of celebrations,

Including harvests, festivals, and weddings. The high energy “Bhangra” dance

is famed for its lively steps and cheerful songs. Punjab is primarily agriculture

based state, due to the presence of abundant water sources and fertile soils.

Other major industries include the manufacturing of scientific instruments ,

agricultural goods electrical goods, financial services , machine tools, textile,

sewing machine, sports goods, starch, tourism, fertilizers, bicycles, garments,

and the processing of pine oil and Sugar. Punjab has the largest number of

steel rolling mill plants in India. The 'Green Revolution' was pioneered by

farmers of Punjab and has transformed the way India looks at farming.

Punjabi wedding are rich and vibrant. Many Bollywood movies have scenes

from typical Panjabi weddings, making the entire show worth watching.

Punjabi weddings include the ‘Chuda Ceremony’ and reception of the baraat

with rich hot and lip smacking delicious food is served to the guest.

Punjabi food is famed for its signature foods like tandoori chicken, makki di

roti, sarson ka saag and lassi. In the village till date, many people still employ

the wood fixed and masonry ovens. Tandoori roti’s are very famous as

tandoori cooking is traditionally associated with Punjab.

Punjabi Language is written in the Gurumukhi script. The traditional dress,

salwar kameez is very famous and worn by ladies throughout India and across

the globe. The traditional dress for men is kurta and tehmat. Punjabis

celebrate many cultural, seasonal and religious festivals which include Maghi,

Lohri, Holi, Baisakhi, Teejan, Diwali, Dushera, and Guru Nanak jayanti.

Places to visit- Punjab is a state bordering Pakistan in the heart of India’s Sikh

Community. I have visited the Golden Temple of Amritsar which was a very

satisfying and beautiful experience of my life. It attracts pilgrims from all over

the world and looks particularly arresting at night, when its beautifully lit up

with its Imposing pure Golden Dome Illuminated. It was a very satisfying

experience to listen to the Gurbani that was sung over there and later I really

enjoyed having the tasty kara (Prasad) which is distributed to the pilgrims.

I next visited the Wagah Border between India and Pakistan, Every Day before

the Sunset a flag ceremony takes Place at the border when it closes for the

day. It starts with high patriotic spirit from both sides of the border and lasts

for about 45 minutes. I was very fortunate to see the parade and the

Pakistanis across the border. I also visited the Jallianwala Bagh, also known

for the Amritsar massacre which took place on 13 April 1919. Troops from the

British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer fired

several rounds into a crowd of Indians, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh,

Amritsar, Punjab.

I was really fortunate enough to visit the beautiful historical places of Punjab

and the sweet memories of Punjab are still fresh in my mind. I look forward to

visiting Punjab again in the near future.
