A post-bid review was conducted with the contractor listed below on Monday, March 13, 2020 and references were checked. Everything was found to be in order. Therefore, it is the recommended motion that the South Lyon Community Schools Board of Education awards the following contract as presented: Paving Equipment True North Asphalt Millennium Middle School $20,710 Rochester Hills, MI South Lyon High School $40,150 Contract Amount: $60,860 The project includes replacing the entrance pavement to Millennium Middle School off Pontiac Trail and resurfacing the entry drive at South Lyon High School off Pontiac Trail. This project was advertised on the State website and posted online on Building Connected. The bids were received on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. The contractor listed above is the low, qualified bidder. The projects will be paid for from the surplus of the 2015 Bond Issue funds. The project is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2020 and be complete before the 2020-21 school year starts. A bid tabulation sheet attached for review.
