Votive Candles We love that you’re light-ing candles in front of the icons and statues, and by the relic of the True Cross. But the candles are not free! Please help us by paying
your share: $1.00 for a small candle, $3.00 for a medium candle, $6.00 for a large candle. Thank you!
Gracias!
Just a Reminder Please observe silence within the church proper before and after Mass. Before Mass is a time for preparation to participate worthily in the sacred action about to occur. After Mass is a time for thanksgiving for the great gift God has deigned to bestow on us. The Narthex is
the proper place for meeting, greeting, and conversation.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!

The Holy Week Liturgies — Simply Awesome!
Since Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Easter Vigil are not Holy Days of Obligation, many of you Catholics don’t bother to come. But, oh, what you’re missing! These are the great feast days of the Church called the Triduum. The Holy Thursday Liturgy recalls the Last Supper and the Lord’s agony in the garden. During the Good Friday Liturgy, one of the most powerful liturgies of the Church, we venerate our relic of the True Cross and contemplate the horrific crucifixion and death of Our Lord. Then comes the Easter Vigil Liturgy, when our new Catholics become members of the Church during our joyous celebration of the risen Lord.
All Catholic families should make the Holy Week Liturgies a part of their Lenten and Easter traditions. The blessings are, well, simply awesome!
