The International Center on Renewable Energy-Biogas (CIBiogás-ER) is focused on the development of biogas as an energetic product, to be used to generate electric, thermal and automotive energies.

To foster the use of renewable energies, focused on biogas, promoting technologic development, entrepreneurship, and stimulating public policies to enhance local and regional supply chains, with economic, social and environmental positive impacts.

-Reduction of 70% of wood demand

-Reduction of U$ 430.000/year in operational costs -Better stability and efficiency of industrial boilers

2 examples of use of biogas replacing wood: Starch Industries (Amidonaria C.Vale)

Use of biogas enhance temperature controll, stabilizing the flame
