March Core Value: Peace April's Big Idea at Home "For the month of April, we will be focusing on the word, Peace. Peace is proving more that you care each other than winning an argument." A great example is the story of Ferdinand the Bull. He liked to sit quietly under the tree and smell the flowers. When he is taken to a ring for a bull fight, everyone is surprised because he is content with sitting quietly and smelling the flowers. This is a great opportunity to read the book or watch the movie and have a discussion with your child about our core value word Peace. "

Thank you! We would like to take a moment to thank all the parents who participated in parent/teacher conferences in March. The support in your child’s education is one of the greatest gifts you can give them that lasts a lifetime. Your support and communication with teachers, helps identify critical issues concerning your child’s education and gives you an opportunity to commend them on their learning.

State Assessments State Assessments are given to our 3rd and 4th grade students in the area of ELA (English Language Arts) and Mathematics. The 3rd grade will be given on April 10th and 11th and the 4th grade will be given on April 17th and 18th. Please support your students in doing their very best. You can also help support your student with well-balanced meals, good nights of sleep, good attendance, and great positive attitudes.

Spring Pictures Reminder Spring pictures were rescheduled due to unforeseen school closing. They have been rescheduled for April 9th. When these picture packets arrive after the 9th, they are sent home with students for choice of purchase. Please be sure to return the full packet or payment for the pictures you have chosen to keep to the office as soon as possible.

Flower Pickup The flower fundraiser pickup will be on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00am to 11:00am in the parking area next to the ES cafeteria.
