Symptom

l PM WD ABAP application configurations work correctly when executed in backend (SE80). Appraisal documents are correctly opened.l However in portal when you try to access a PM document you get one of the following errors:

n There is no iView available for system “SAP_ERP_HumanResources”: Object “employee”. For more information contact your administratn Page does not exist or not available.n

Error in Calling Up Application. The Web Dynpro application was called up with the wrong URL parameters.n No error, but when clicking on a document name nothing happens.

Environment

l SAP release ECC6 EHP4 and higherl Human Capital Management, Performance Managementl Portal

Reproducing the Issue

Logon to portal:

l ESS role -> Career and Job -> Appraisal Documents -> Open a document or

l MSS role -> Talent Management -> Performance Documents -> Open a document

Cause

Configuration of OBN navigation is not correct in portal.

Resolution

This is likely an issue with OBN navigation. When running the WDs from SE80, no OBN navigation is used. This is the reason why it works fine in bac
