Organize your application materials by schools/programs/jobs• Create physical and/or electronic folders
• Keep versions of your resume and/or curriculum vitae

Create a tracking system of due dates and materials to be submitted. (ex. Transcripts and letters of recommendation)
Managing Applications for Jobs or School
Professional Identity vs. Scholarly Identity Resume– (for jobs) emphasis on your knowledge, skills and activities that will make you a great employee.
Vita or CV– (for graduate school) emphasis on your knowledge, skills, and activities that will make you a great researcher, teacher and/or clinician.
Most of the “content” of a resume or CV is the same, the difference is in how you describe these accomplishments and experiences.
