2- Minor bug corrections and improvements

1. Miscellaneous 1. EMF 2479: Using VxWorks, The PCI_CFG_COMMAND register is set to 0xFFFFFFFF for

each applicomIO card having the same « class Code» (identical as SST DN3 & DN4 cards). This explains why applicomIO and DN4 are in conflict in the same PC. From now

on, the hot fix allows to set 0xFFFFFFFF for the applicomIO cards only. The modified file is « u_ahal.c ».

2. EMF 3821: New applicomIO Windows Driver compilation with lastest Microsoft DDK

3. EMF 3300: Console: Sub-network mask and Gateway IP address not updated in online action

4. EMF 2521: Console: Error message when the diagnostic is running after a network detection

5. EMF 3789: Add the Ardence RTX 2012 package on product CD Rom

6. EMF 3823: Vxworks 6.9 driver: Bad returned data values from IO_ReadIWord() and

IO_WriteQWord(). The both functions read and wrote a byte instead of 2 bytes.

2. EtherNet/IP protocol 1. EMF 3323: EtherNet/IP Console: no message if an assembly of an EDS contains "16,

Param1:2" and id Param1 is a 16 bits. The norm says that it is not valid. From now, - if the member size is smaller or bigger than the parameter, there is a warning "cannot inserted items" - if the member size and the member reference are empty, there is a warning message

2. EMF 1837: Issue decoding the status du EtherNet/IP Local Slave

3. EMF 3319: EtherNet/IP console: String Escape sequences of an EDS file are now managed in the console.

4. EMF 3321: EtherNet/IP console: the parameters in the online parameters view are not grouped.

5. EMF 3357: EtherNet/IP console: an EDS can appear twice in the tree of the device library

3. PROFINET protocol 1. EMF 3686: The FrameID in the configuration file has not the correct value if

PNIO_Version >= v2.3 is in the GSDML.

2. EMF 2888: PROFINET Console - Send acyclic messages. Instead of using the AuWriteReadMsg_io function under windows, customer wanted to send acyclic messages (for generating alarm and for record access) directly from the console. The goal is to send acyclic messages and monitor I/O at the same time.

3. EMF 3771: PROFINET diagnostic tool - Password not mentioned in the documentation

4. PROFIBUS protocol 1. EMF 2223: After a network detection, if an equipment is inserted into the user

configuration using the generic GSD file, it was impossible to configure advanced parameters

2. EMF 2306: Multiple keys are used ("User_Prm_Data_Len" and "Ext_User_Prm_Data_Ref") in the GSD to manage the paramater buffer size

3. EMF 2882: Installation Setup - Remove the old PROFIBUS GSD files in the main applicomIO directory

4. EMF 3559: PCU-DPIO configuration: Ext_User_Prm_Data_Ref appear twice in the GUI

and incorrect buffer generated

5. EMF 3561: It was not possible to enter byte until Max_User_Prm_Data_Len limit

6. EMF 3655 : The definition of Ext_User_Prm_Data_Const shall exclude the evaluation of User_Prm_Data and User_Prm_Data_Len

3- New in CANopen, Emergency messages acquisition in FIFO queue in the card

The EMCY messages are alarm frames transmitted by equipments in case of

internal error, (ex : current or voltage error, input or output shortcut). The applicomIO master is consumer of EMCY emitted by equipments and store them in a EMCY queue (FIFO 500 positions, timestamp precision : 1 ms)

The software application can grab these EMCY messages from the queue through:

- functions library (function AuWriteReadMsg_io) - OPC server

Feature available in PCI-CANIO and PC104-CANIO cards.

4- Remote access card via Ethernet TCP/IP

Used in the case where the applicomIO card (PCI, CPCI or PC/104 bus) is plugged in a non-Windows computer platform. It allows the live remote access to the card (configuration, initialization, diagnostic, ...) through a remote Windows PC, both computers being networked using Ethernet TCP/IP.

Feature available under VxWorks.

for other non-windows operating system : ask for availability

Full Information on all of these features and more can be found in the on-line help files.
