Vashon island is a rural paradise in Puget Sound served by ferries from three mainland points- West Seattle, Tacoma and Southworth. AYH Ranch Hostel Retreat Center
This year the camp will be held on the former AYH Ranch Hostel property. This beautiful 20 acre property boasts two rental houses and a huge events barn. See photos at ayhranch.com.
Vashon Island Cello Camp

How to Apply To sign up for Vashon Island Cello Camp, fill out the application form, detach and mail to Rowena Hammill at 21405 Tramp Harbor Rd SW, Vashon, WA, 98070, enclosing a $75 check payable to Vashon Chamber Music to reserve your spot. We have a limit of 12 participants, so don’t delay! The balance will be due by June 1st. 2017. We are happy to welcome cellists ages 14 and up who have had at least three years of private lessons. Schedule The daily schedule will include private lessons, individual practice, master classes, technique classes and cello ensemble. Evenings will be spent in leisure activities at camp or around the island and attending Vashon Chamber Music’s summer concerts.
Dates: Monday pm-Saturday am, August 7-12, 2017.
Cost: $875, includes tuition, room and meals, concert admission. Housing will be in two large vacation rental houses at the ranch - one for girls and one for boys, with faculty cellists in residence.
